The Worst Business Growth Strategy Ever

When I first started in business I did everything (and anything) to grow.

I went to networking events (and met people who were shockingly more interested in growing their businesses than mine)…

I reached out to friends, family, and the few clients I did have at the time for referrals (but they came in sporadically which meant feast then famine… and mostly just famine)

And I sent cold emails, did direct mail, offered free services and audits, and free strategy sessions, consultations, and anything else just to…

“get my foot in the door”

Did it work?

Sure. I mean I guess so. After all I did manage to survive.

But I was NOT thriving.

And YIKES did it ever cost me a lot!

A lot of time.

A lot of energy.

And a LOT of my sanity.

That’s because…

Relying on networking and referrals is the worlds worst marketing strategy.

It’s “Hope Marketing” and it relies on hoping other people are going to bring you leads and clients.

So what’s the alternative you may ask?

Well…

As you may have guessed it’s not:

  • Fancy
  • Sexy
  • Or overly complicated

But it allowed me to grow my business and enabled me to make more in a month than I used to in a year.

So it works.

And it works every time.

And it all comes down to having a simple, scalable system that allows you to put a few dollars in and get a lot of dollars out.

The simplified formula is this:

Content + Promotion = Clients

To the moon!
