Alright. I don’t like usually like talking about money and the lifestyle of the internet marketing bajillionaire. I’m not a flashy guy (I’m writing this in jeans and a t-shirt… not an Armani suit). And much of the internet marketing “guru” hype quite frankly makes me ill.
Especially since so much of it (aka nearly all of it) is fake, fabricated, and made up to make the “gurus” look bigger, better, and badder than they really are.
Their message is “Buy my stuff and you too can be just like me!” (But what if we don’t want to be like you my internet marketing “guru” friend?)
The worst part is, even the “real” stuff they claim ain’t that hard to fake!
Take for example my life story, only “marketing-guru-internetized“:
I’ve flown in private jets hundreds of times (but I was the pilot… so I was working)
I used to own a sweet sports car (but I bought it used and it cost about the same as a new Toyota)
And I have dozens of pictures of me in front of and inside mansions, yachts, and supercars (because I know people who have monster houses, big boats, and fancy schmancy automobiles)
The first part of the sentence is truth. But the second part is what normally gets left out… and is the truth behind the truth.
But one thing I don’t mind “bragging” about is how I built my 1st (and 2nd) multiple 6-figure business.
Because what I did was totally doable by anyone. And you don’t need to buy anything I sell to achieve the same darn thing. Say WHAT?!?!?! (#marketingblasphemy)
Yup. You read that right. You can use the exact same strategy I used (and I’m about to share below) and add an extra 100k or so to your revenue without buying my stuff or getting my help. (#doublemarketingblasphemy)
The key ingredient to my success?
Content.
And lots of it.
But not just content.
Good content.
Content that solves problems, informs, educates, and entertains.
And content that builds TRUST.
Here’s the thing. You can start content marketing right now, today by:
Identifying your ideal target market
Figuring out their biggest problems, questions, and pain points
Creating content that solves them
Promoting your content on channels and platforms they spend time
Don’t want to do it alone? That’s ok (and asking for help is a smart business decision)
If you need a little help there are some great books on the subject (and I’m writing another one as you read this)

Content. It’s King, Queen, Prince, Princess, and Joker.
It’s the whole enchilada. And the first step in reaping its rewards is to just get started.
