I’m sitting here typing this from my “home away from home”.
(After years of travelling and living all over the world there are only 3 places that I feel truly at peace… and this is one of them. Ucluelet, BC)
And as I was staring out into the infinite blue ocean I started thinking…
What is it that keeps so many smart, talented, ambitious, and driven entrepreneurs from achieving their full potential?
Why do so many businesses struggle to reach 6 figures, multiple 6 figures, 7 figures, (or more), when it’s clearly possible and within their reach?
(And there are countless case studies to show EXACTLY how to do it, and how it’s been done before.)
So after some serious thought…
And after looking back over my career and the times I stalled, and the times I truly achieved amazing things…
The answer became clear.
The times I stalled I was playing “not to lose“.
And the times I achieved I was “playing to win“.
And there’s a HUGE difference between the two.
When you play “not to lose”, you play it safe. Don’t take too many risks. And don’t truly explore the almost limitless potential you’re capable of.
But…
When you “play to win”, you go ALL IN.
You set the bar high. You take necessary risks. And you lay it all on the line.
So here’s the scary truth.
Nobody ever achieved true success by playing “not to lose”
Which means when it comes to your marketing…
How can you “play to win”?
- Start that Facebook Ad campaign you’ve been putting off?
- Start livestreaming?
- Start a podcast?
- Do more webinars?
As they say in Latin…
“audentes Fortuna iuvat” (ie “fortune favors the bold“)
Go make it happen!
