When it comes to taglines there are 2 types. Those that make you money. And those that lose you money.
So what exactly is a tagline?
Sometimes referred to as a slogan or catchphrase, a tagline is simply a way to describe what your company does.
Where people get into trouble is that they either try to make their tagline do too much by cramming every product, service, and offer they have into it…
Or making it so “clever and creative” that nobody really knows what you do.
Neither are good.
But the problem comes from the fact that most taglines that are taught and studied and used as examples come from massive corporations and already well known brands.
Behemoth’s who don’t need to advertise what they do directly and can afford to be vague.
So here’s how to avoid that trap and make sure your tagline brings home the bacon
