I’ve got a secret I’ve never shared before, and I think it might help if you’re feeling a little stuck, too.
My 20s were tough. Probably the roughest, toughest decade of my 40-year life.
On the outside, it looked like I had everything going for me: a great girlfriend (who then became my wife), a high-paying job, traveling the world. Heck, I even bought myself a fancy sports car (which, by the way, taught me a valuable lesson about something called the hedonic treadmill when the buzz faded after only a couple of weeks).
If you’d looked at my life at the time, it would appear as though I was living the dream. The only problem? It wasn’t my dream.
I was trapped. Stuck on a treadmill that kept getting faster and faster, and I didn’t know how to get off.
That’s when the feelings of hopelessness, despair, and desperation really kicked in.
Now, I’d love to tell you that it was at this point I started meditating, journaling, and seeing counselors—all in an attempt to map out my next big move.
But instead, I did the next logical thing—had a full-blown nervous breakdown. (Turns out, when you ignore your problems long enough, your body steps in and handles it for you!).
I quit my high-paying job on the spot, went home, and tried to figure out what to do next.
The rest? History.
I started learning about marketing, launched my own agency, and began making YouTube videos to get clients. And that, well, grew into everything I’m doing today.
But there are two powerful lessons I took away from that decade of pain that I want to share with you—no matter what age you are, what path you’re on, or where you ultimately want to go (even if it’s just to get off the path you’re on right now).
1. The pain of staying stuck is far worse than the fear of starting something new.
I was terrified of leaving that job and starting my own business. But let me tell you, the pain of staying in a job I hated was 100 times worse than the fear I had about going out on my own. There’s nothing more painful than continuing down a road you don’t want to be on with no off-ramp in sight. And if that’s you right now, consider this email your off-ramp.
2. You have more opportunity now than ever before.
Now, I don’t want to be that old guy complaining about ‘back in my day,’ but 20 years ago, the chances to start an online business were practically zero. Passive income? That was a pipe dream. I had to hand-code my first website using HTML and CSS—and trust me, it wasn’t pretty.
Today? You’ve got everything at your fingertips.
So, what’s stopping you?
If you feel stuck—like I did—you might be waiting for that perfect moment, or for all the stars to align. But here’s the thing: that moment doesn’t exist. There’s never a perfect time to start, but there’s always a better time than “later.”
That moment is now.

So, what’s your next move? I believe in you, and I know you’re ready to take that first step—because deep down, you know you’re capable of so much more.
Yes, it’s scary to take the leap, but on the other side of fear is the freedom you’ve been searching for. And I’m here to help you get there.

Adam
