I’m going to keep this short (but still oh so sickeningly sweet).
Big confession coming…
I’m nothing special. (gasp!)
Sure I’ve done some cool stuff, had some cool jobs, lived some cool places.
But none of that qualifies me as a bound to be “successful” entrepreneur or marketer.
So how then have I managed to achieve what I have?
In other words…
How have I managed to become highly sought after and paid (well) to do the work I love?
Well like most things in life there’s more than just one single thing…
BUT….
If I had to pick that one single thing that has had the biggest impact on my career it would easily have to be:
consistent content creation.
(And notice how I didn’t even say quality content creation because in the early years my stuff was a far cry from quality).
Yup. That’s it. Consistent content creation.
I created stuff. Then I shared and promoted it. Then I did it again.
And the #2 thing (relationship building) I did likely only exists because of the #1 thing I did first (consistent content creation).
Here’s how that worked.
The content gave me the platform to prove my authority so that when a relationship opportunity opened up I was already positioned as the “go-to” guy.
Magic?
Nope.
Just simple, strategic, and consistent content.
