I’m watching this show on Netflix right now called Cosmos and it’s blowing my mind. (Here’s the link: https://www.netflix.com/ca/title/80004448)
Seriously.
It’s a great big universe out there and the size and scale of it is… well… mind blowing.
But what’s most interesting about the show is that they’ve managed to “dumb it down” to my level.
Sure there are some pretty complicated theories discussed in there (it is astrophysics after all) but it’s done in a way I can actually understand.
Once again…. Simplicity for the win.
So why then do so many internet marketing “gurus” insist on using such over-the-top and complicated funnels?
(A more introspective question I ask myself now is why did I decide to use these things for so darn long…)
Well, I’ll tell you.
It’s because complicated is sexy.
Complicated keeps your mind off the important work by making you stress out about the busy work of tagging, segmenting, all sorts of crazy analytics, and improving conversion rates by fraction of a percent.
And complicated sells expensive courses and training.
After all, this stuff is FAR too complicated to try to figure out on your own. Right?
Actually. That is right!
It is far too complicated to try to figure out on your own.
But why do you even need to figure it out at all?
Isn’t there a better way?
A less complicated way?
An easier way that takes 80% less time and delivers 80% more results?
Yes my friend. There is.

- You then carve off one lead magnet from it (what’s something you can do to give your people an immediate win in their lives or businesses)
- You then drive traffic to that lead magnet with one traffic source (no need to do everything, especially when everything isn’t what’s right for your business)
- And you follow up with one follow up method (my advice is email) UNTIL the sale is made (persistence and nurturing win every time)
